Bangalore International Public School (BIPS)
The School was established in 1999 and follows both ICSE and State Curriculum. The school aims in imparting quality education to boys and girls and to prepare them to face the challenges of the life and become good citizens of our country.

Intellectual, social, moral, emotional and cultural development of the child is our goal. All curricular and co-curricular activities are planned with these principles to develop a complete, integrated personality in the child. A special feature of our school is to work individually with each child in different sections, based on sound principles of educational psychology.

LEGACY OF 55 YEARS

In 1966, with the sole purpose of creating the nation’s most creative thinkers and extreme achievers, G. S. D. Sharma found the BIGI school. He wished for BIGI's students to be the leaders of tomorrow, the pride of the nation. With Sharma at the helm, BIGI went on to become one of the best schools not just in Bangalore but the entirety of India. Sharma served as the Founding Secretary from 1966 until 2002. After he stepped down, U. V. Srinivas Murthy took over as Chairman. He undertook several new initiatives and programs that took BIGI to even greater heights.

After serving as Chairman of Bangalore International Public School (BIPS), Chikkalasandra for ten years,Rtn Dr. D Muniraju took over as Chairman of BIGI in 2009. Since then, the school has grown by leaps and bounds.Rtn Dr. D Muniraju helped found Bangalore International Kids High (BIH) at Sapthagiri Layout in 2015. He also singlehandedly led the development of Bangalore International Academy (BIA), Whitefield that got its start in 2018. Under his guidance, BIGI has joined forces with BIA Jayanagar, BIPS Chikkalasandra, BIH, and BIA Whitefield to form the mother organization of Bangalore International Group of Institutions (BIGI). With this new name and identity, we strive to collectively become the best schools in the country.

This is Deepak A Ex-student of BIPS. It was a cherishful moment of joining our school and one of my sad moments is leaving it. I completed 13 years of education in BIPS from Prep 1 to Grade X. Years shall pass fast but the wonderful memories of BIPS will be there forever. For that I thank our AD Mam, Principal and our teachers as they guided me to a good path. All the events in this school celebrated were very special like Graduation day, Festival celebrations i.e,. Children’s Day ,Splash Events etc. Proud to be a BIPS Student.
